Shooting products for advertising pays my bills, but it’s the people, the portraits, and the places that truly move me. Dharavi, and especially Kumbharwada (the potter’s community) has become a part of my creative journey after more than 25 visits. There is something magical about the way the light dances across the old lanes, the textures of clay-stained walls, and the timeless faces I meet here. Every time I return, I discover something new; a subtle shift in the light, a fresh composition waiting to be seen. This series is my love letter to the beauty, resilience, and spirit of Kumbharwada’s people.
